gregmoeck
anyone ever use super glue on zoo's ? is it safe? Link to comment
Christopher Marks
Yeah, superglue does ok with zoos. Just hold them underwater while the glue bonds/cures. Link to comment
carlom79
why a rock? how about little pieces of LR? where is your mechanical filtration if your not using a songe substrata thing Link to comment
gregmoeck
Hi Carlem, I used small pieces of live rock rubble to glue the zoo's. It worked out well and the zoo's are wide open. All my filtration is done by the sand and rock. The coral is adding filtration by filter feeding as well. I have one 3 stipe damsel that was pulled from another tank. He is 2 years old and never fed. He lives off of whatever such as alqae and coral sheds. I also have live rock rubble in the aqua clear filter hanging on the back and small PVC pipes and elbows stacked in and on top of the sand behind my live rock( about 5 pieces ) - this is for pods and mysis to breed and live. I dose Kalk and , stontium & molybdenum plus Roti-Pods liquid. I toss a tiny bag of Kent Carbon in the tank once every couple weeks for a day and do a weekly 1 gallon water change. I have no surface scum. Link to comment
flaunt
looks pretty nice, how long has it been up and running? looks like you could use a few more #s of LR, but other than that good start. i've got to get pics of my nano up here X) Link to comment
