FireFish21 Posted July 16, 2005 Share Posted July 16, 2005 I have added a clean up crew of many snails, a sally lightfoot, and a few hermit crabs. I also have a lawnmower blenny (who hides ALL of the time) My sand does not get stirred up and always has a brown patch on it. What can I do to fix this problem? Link to comment
xsamx Posted July 17, 2005 Share Posted July 17, 2005 Im not 100% sure about this but, im sorry to report that the sand will never be as white as it was when you put it in.. I was having the same problem, I added a 2 spot goby, and its cleared up quite a bit because thats all he does is sift and sift!!! Ive noticed a tremendous decrease of Pods though, because that’s what hes looking for LOL! Link to comment
Christopher Pearson Posted July 21, 2005 Share Posted July 21, 2005 if you get a sand sifting gobie, make sure the sand is very fine--to be able to pass through the gills, thicker sand will eventually kill him. Link to comment
