hardyl425
I just noticed this worm like thing crawling at the back of my tank this morning. The pic isn't too great hopefully you can see what it looks like. Its about 4" to 5" long pinkish gray lots of legs. Is this a bad thing or a good thing. Any help would be appreciated http://www.nano-reef.com/gallery/showgalle...00&ppuser=13667 Link to comment
jenniebutterfly
pic is not showing, but sounds like a bristle worm, or possibly a fireworm Link to comment
hardyl425
are bristle worms, and fireworms good for the nano tank enviroment? Link to comment
Kogut
Haha. Soooo many different opinions. I, personally, have no problem w/ the small ones. I hate the big ones because I've seen them kill snails for food. :| They are one of the best detritivores (Crap eaters) and scavengers in a marine tank, though. : Link to comment
Caesar777
You need a better pic. Generally, true bristleworms are strict detritiovres, non-predatory, but there are predatory worms out there that give the bw's a bad name. Link to comment
