planetg
I've just realised that there are some white spots on my LR yesterday. The other portions of the rocks are still nicely coloured Been doing my regular water changes and the last time i measured my calcium and alk they are, Calcium: 520 (Sera Test Kit) ALK: 9DKH (Sera Test Kit) Any ideas? Is it something I should be worried about? I've been using Tropic Marin salt and dosing Seachem's Marine Buffer Link to comment

planetg
What about diff btw Seachem's Reef Calcium and Mark Weiss Coral Vital? Link to comment
Dave ESPI
uuuuhhhhhhhh.... Seachem reef calcium is ..... calcium. the Coral vital / Reef DNA is a color pigment primer and enzymes that help activate and jumpstart coraline algaes. Link to comment
Fant
Up your actinic wattage. Iv noticed that my tanks that have closer to equal wattage of actinic and daylight grow coralline algae much better then having mass amounts of daylights and dinky actinic. Link to comment
