bwings
Usual story, i've just got back from vacation to find my tank has some form of growth all over the LR. It looks like small 'blocks' of a red algae, but I have no idea what. i wouldnt be troubled by it but it seems to be infesting a large colony of polyps and causing them some irritation. any help much appreciated. ricky1414
Looks to me like red flatworms. Try sucking them out with a turkey baster or airline hose. Link to comment
bwings
Thanks a lot ricky, just researched acoel and you're correct. I've now siphoned off most of them, I'll keep siphoning over the next month. thanks again Link to comment
jenniebutterfly
if you can remove the rock that they are on, swish i in fresh water, keep changing the water till you cannot get anymore off. they come off fairly easy that way. Link to comment
Daemonfly
Once you get most of them out, as many as you can, you can use Salifert's Flatworm eXit carefully. A dose or two should keep them from comming back. Link to comment
