aj8302 Posted July 10, 2005 Share Posted July 10, 2005 I just got a maroon clown about 3 days ago and a new open brain coral a day ago and now I just noticed that my clown has the slime on him and some of the sand is stuck on it what should I do help please Link to comment
lgreen Posted July 10, 2005 Share Posted July 10, 2005 keep it fed well, with out comprimizing water quality. that will help. perhaps someone will be of more help as i am not a disease specialist. It's hard to say what you could be dealing with. perhaps a form of ich or clownfish disease. check all your water parameters to see if there is something that could specifically be stressing the clown. a specific description or pic could be helpful too. Six Posted July 17, 2005 Share Posted July 17, 2005 fish have a natural slime coat and can be adhesive to sand. i wouldnt worry unless you see more significant signs. sound slike stress to captivity/new tank environment. Link to comment
