will a piccolo fit into a 24G DX?

haven't actually seen a sander piccolo skimmer, just the boyu/jebo types around my area.

i'm wondering whether the piccolo would fit into the 24G DX without having to do anything to the NC.

anyone have one in their NC?

 

would like to know before i ask my lfs to order one.

oh ya, no diy for me cos i'm really bad at such things.

I have a cpr skimmer took all the filters out just bubbles doing their thing! I hang it on the front of tank one night a week!

The cup on a piccolo is 3 1/4" in diameter. It wont fit in a 12 gal without modification. I think the 24 gal is the same. If it did fit in the back chambers you would still have to cut down the 2nd dividing wall in order to lower the water level in chamber 2.

if i can't find anything with a smaller cup, i'll just have to cut the NC for the piccolo...
