I would avoid eating out of your tank.

 

Back when we had a fresh water tank in the office we had a huge arrowana and a chinese client of ours told us that it was a delicacy and if it should die, he would love to have it. When we converted to salt we gave the fish away so he never had his meal.

The thought of eating fromm the tank just doesnt apeal to me:x

I have a friend I work with who said " If I spend that much on a fish I am going to eat it" I dont think he uderstands the hobbie to well.

I happen to think that my tank and most other tanks are much more sterile than the ocean. I assume that is where they get the seas weed, but chances are it is aqua-cultured.

 

also we are talking about seaweed, it's a lot different than eating your scrawny goby. Have you ever eaten a lobster that you saw live in a tank?
