red seaweed like thingy

hi all

 

have this red seaweed like thing growing on my rocks.

can anyone help to id and also advise whether i should get rid of it?

what may cause it to grow?

Fauchea, a rather desireable macro algae. Keep it; it's pretty and easy to control. Moderate growth rate. Grows for the same reason that hair and film algae are growing on the rocks around it nutrients and light.
