sjwalton
Anybody know where to find a glass aquarium with a built in refugium about 12g in size. Like the ones Chris used to build before shutting down his store? Would be nice to find one. All suggestions are welcome. I tried to make one out of a 10g but man was that ever a disaster. tinyreef
use a tank divider with the 10g. cheap simple and quick ($6, 3 pcs., and 2 minutes). for something more permanent get some acrylic sheet and silicone sealant. another option is to drop a little 2.5g into your 10g. just make it's resting on a solid base (numerous pvc couplings or pipe cut to the right length) to be slightly lower than the 10g's water level (still has to be a viable refuge). you can then position a hob or PH to draw water out of the refugium into the main tank. if the 2.5g is too big you could opt for a 1g hex tank, a betta tank, or a glass pitcher (let your imagination go wild). otherwise you're looking at custom jobs ($$$) Link to comment
