Do they leak at all? Second, are there many light kits that are easy to fit into the Eclipse lids? If so, any link would be greatly appreciated, my town just doesnt carry things like that. johnfaas Posted November 30, 2002 Share Posted November 30, 2002 I have started a Sys 6 Eclipse and no prob so far, people have said they scratch ?I took out the light and filter,cut the plastic sup. to fit . I got a custom sea life (sea light) SL 37/67 1-27 watt day light PC 1- 9 watt super actinic PC reflector bal.with two plugs for two timers acrilic splash guard(all came together as a kit ) I also cut three vents in top or hood I am going to trim the back to fit a HOB filter Put live sand (about 6 lbs) and 9 lbs of live rock so far,a small power head.So far it has been running for two weeksand some of the purple faded and have some diatoms but every thing seemg good so far.The size is nice and water changes are done with 1 gal water jugs !nice and easy. copy and paste this link to see the light.
