sacjon
I bought this as a "leather coral" frag from my LFS - anyone know what species? I was doing some research and I was think some kind of sinularia. I know the pic is not that clear, but it is purplish, kind of slimy and has little polyps on the tips. Any help would be great!! LVReefer
Looks like a stubby finger coral. I'll post a pic when I get home. So here it is. The coral is Sinularia Brassica, simular to S. dura Sorry for the bad quality. I took an old 6x9 picture and a digital camera to post it:*( . Anyways I had this in an old reef tank of mine back in early 90's. I hardly ever see it in the trade. I remember acquiring it from customer who bought it and gave me a frag. I started out with a single finger and ended up with a huge colony. I had it under 440w of VHO (1:1 ratio) and it grew like a weed. Link to comment
