Do most NC owners use a skimmer?

Curious.

 

Do most NC owners use a skimmer? I thought about buying a NC but I'm big on skimming (please, no debates or arguments, just stating my opinion).

 

I've seen some people mention they've used a Sander's Piccolo Skimmer in their NC.

I think that for aesthetic reasons and simplicity of setup most nanocube owners don't skim. weekly water changes aren't a big deal if it's only a gallon or two.

 

I don't skim, for the reasons I listed above, but I wouldn't think of going without a skimmer on my big tank.

I just do a weekly 10%-20% water change. I would suggest doing the cassete mod, just to get the surface scum. Other than that, no worries about not skimming.
