yellowbird53
I have a camera phone only so the photo I am able to get is lof little use here. What I have is in a crevace of Bali rock, 2" to the rear of a new Hammerhead stalk. It is brownish-red in color, with the consistancy of mucous-sperm. It is covering what looks to be either air bubbles, or, is it possible...eggs? Water is 0,0,0, 8.2 PH, SG 1.0245 Ca, 350. Is is cyno with bubbles trapped? Anyone? Any thoughts... Link to comment
gobygirl3
I think it is cyano, I had the red stuff one time and it had the tell tale air bubbles too Link to comment
yellowbird53
How did you rid yourself of it? Link to comment
gobygirl3
It seemed to go away on its own with RO mixed water changes Link to comment
FloorLord
syphen as much of it out during water changes. Cut back on feeding, as overproduction of nutrients, is what is causing it. For a short-time cure, try Chemi-Clean, it is pricey, but, should clear up Cyano, overnight!!! Again, a short time cure tho, figure out what is producing the cyano first. D Link to comment
