FamousGuy
which lps wont grow too huge for a nano, or can at least be regulated by cutting/fragging? I was thinking about getting a bubble and an open brain (trach.geof.?) but heard they grow huge real fast, especially the bubble. Right now i have a 20 tall Link to comment
ross76053
Frogspawn doesn't grow that quickly, IMO, and would be a good choice. I was also gonna say Hammer, until you said: or can at least be regulated by cutting/fragging? I'm pretty sure you don't want to attempt fraggin' a Hammer, so skip that one. Caulastrea (aka Candy Cane, Trumpet) doesn't grow very quickly...at least in my tank. Link to comment
Metznreef
candy cane corals are good choices for nanos. they are cool and whenever they get too big just break a cuple heads off and bring um to the lfs:) Link to comment
Brianc_4
If you do a branching hammer, you can just frag off a branch. Each branch is independent of the other. Link to comment
ross76053
Really? Cool.... Question - know anyone here who's got Hammer frags relatively cheap? I'd like a tiny one. Link to comment
printerdown01
Still grows quickly, but at least it won't sting your other inhabitants when it does: Fox Coral... Candy cane grows REALLY quickly sometimes, but it can be fragged easily! Link to comment
