chufa
I went out of town for a few days, and when I came back my hammer coral had some recession. Not looking good. Doing some waterchanges and all. Question is: once recession shows up, is there any chance of recovery? Or should I expect the worst? Link to comment
tinyreef
i don't think it's an inevitable outcome at the early stages. even at 'later' stages some corals are merely bailing out to resettle somewhere else (altho they think they're still in the vastness of the ocean X) ). check your pH, dkh, and ca (besides the salinity, temp, and inhabitants). those are the 1st suspects on my list usually. nitrates and the rest are usually 2nd tier 'alerts' imo (altho more common). the 1st tier are more critical and immediate concerns imo. JPF
Some people blame recession on the Democrats. Some blame it on the Republicans. I feel it is cyclical. Link to comment
