"Atlas" Conch

Picked up a conch yesterday labeled an "Atlas Conch". Can't seem to find anything on them. It looks and acts like a fighting conch to me, it's been on and in the sand mowing through detritus since I added him. Anyone heard of an Atlas? If so, how do they differ from the common fighting conch?

 

I don't know if this is actually a different species, or if it's one of those funky LFS names. I went to check out a dinky LFS once (with a whopping 2 marine tanks) to find a tank buzzing with Astreas labeled "Beneficial Cone Snails."

 

"Why do you label your astreas as cone snails?"

"Because that's what they are."

"But cone snails look nothing like this, and they're not sold because they're venomous."

"These are different. They're beneficial cone snails."

"Oh, I see." :

 

Lo and behold, I went back a few weeks later (don't know why) and they had all magically morphed into astreas.
