Billio
I picked up this frag Saturday and thought it was a Cauliflower Mushroom. From some of the pics of seen via searches, I'm not so sure. Also, I have the guy at the bottom of my jbj 24dx nano-cube. What is the ideal placement and current for him? I have stock lighting at this time and have added an additional pump, a maxi-jet 1200, for additional flow. I also got a Pulsing Xenia and played with placement and discovered it liked mid tank out of the current. I initially placed in the same place as this mushroom and it completely retracted. Now that I have it mid-tier with less current, it is fully extended and looking good. I also picked up these Green Button Polyps at the same time: I separated a frag off this rock with 10 polyps on it. What is the best placement and current for these guys? Most posts I've seen reference high placement and good flow. One problem with these guys is they have soem hair algae on the frag rock and I'm having trouble removing it as I'm too worried about damaging the polyps. Recommendations? Thanks. Link to comment
Billio
I made it back to the store where I bought this. It is a green cabbage leather coral. He said they're pretty easy to grow. I also picked up a cauliflower leather while I was there. ;-) Link to comment
