redguppy
I have a 4.5g tank and I would like to make it in to a nano reef (hold on not finished:happy: ) I would like to have one fish ( tank is probably too small for this). Maybe a goby or clown fish. but my main interest is the crabs,corals,etc.... Is this possible? Comments please Link to comment
printerdown01
I say this is absolutely possible . You will need to give considerable consideration to lighting your little reef. I think a clown would be over kill, but something like a neon goby, a red-headed goby, or a red-sided goby would work out quite well. DO NOT OVER FEED in this small system! Link to comment
BCOrchidGuy
I agree with printerdown, yes entirely possible, but make the fish a small one. Give alot of thought to your light, and you can keep an amazing collection of corals etc in that tank. Good luck and keep us posted. BTW check out the member tanks section for some great pics and ideas, alot of people are keeping nano as small as 2.5 gallon. Link to comment
gobies
A clown goby would also work in this system. Look for a pic by Sahin -- some clown gobies are quite attractive little fish. Link to comment
