PhatSOB
I will shortly be upgrading my canopy to 2x28W PC retrofit hood with a 10k and an acintic bulb. I am looking for some coral suggestions for what I could possibly keep successfully in my 10g. this is what I have to pick from Coral Linky ~15-17 lbs of LR 400 l/h powerhead AC150 running as a mini refuge Link to comment
bobioden
56w over a ten gallon tank you should stick to the Zoos, Mushrooms, and most of the LPS. That is pretty low light. So any of the low light corals should be fine. Bob Link to comment
Six
I keep everything but acros in my 10 with only 3wpg. You can definitly keep most coral under 5wpg in a 10, its shallow enough, but if you want the vivid colors of blue montipora danae, or bright yellow turbinaria, you might want higher lighting. What you have is adequate for husbandry. If you're talking color, you may or may not have enough lighting relative to the exact species and color morph of the animal you pick. Mushrooms wouldnt like that high of lighting, in my experience at least. Link to comment
