FishFreak
I got a 2 polyp frag of micro's today and was wondering what their growth rate was? Should I expect any baby polyps within the next month? How long does it take a baby polyp to develop into an adult? Link to comment
Stanley
It's going to depend on how happy the frag is... also how large the polyps are. -The more you feed the sooner you'll get splitting. -Some specimens will grow faster then others... just the way things are. -If they like your tank and you feed well you could see the beginings of growth in the next month. -The more polyps on a frag the faster it will begin to establish. One takes some time... two is okay... three and four seem to get to it faster. Good luck... what colors are your micros? Link to comment
FishFreak
One of the polyps is larger than normal and they seem happy because right when I added hem from shipment they opened their feeder tentacles and ate. Here is a pic: Here it is under tigahboy's camera Here it is today ( I didn't get a very good pic) I am thinking of feeding it about every other day. I am going to feed it mysis shrimp and freeze dried cyclpoeeze Link to comment
