Of course, my LFS insists I must use a DSB but I remember reading here that a DSB doesn't work in such a small reef. I plan on buying all LS since it is so small the cost will not be too bad. Twins Guy Posted November 22, 2002 Share Posted November 22, 2002 you'll prolly want more like 7-10 lbs, i'd shoot for about 1.5", then if you get burrowers and strong currents you won't be exposing the bottom glass. i really like this depth, have it in both my tanks. good luck! (most places recommend 1-1.5lbs/gallon) Link to comment
