changhsu
Hi, Does anyone in Sacramento have 10 lbs of good LR (and LS) for sale? The LR and LS in the LFS around town are not very good. Or... Does anyone in Sacramento (or even the Bay Area) want to buy 20 lbs of gulf-view.com nice deco live rock for $130? I need 10 lbs of LR for my new nano reef, but the shipping for 10 lbs of gulf view LR is too much compared to shipping 30 lbs. Furthermore, there is a $100 lower limit, so I might not be able to buy just 10 lbs. So, if I order 30 lbs, I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in buying the extra 20 lbs from me? I've done the research and it seems that gulf-view has the rock with the most life. From their website: "coralline, heavy tube coral, star clusters, and colorful encrusting sponges." TampabaySaltwater has good rocks too, but I heard that their rocks are heavier and more spherical (ie ball-shaped)? http://www.gulf-view.com http://www.gulf-view.com/deco_a.html http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...=&threadid=5721 http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...=&threadid=5137 Here's the math: Small purchase of l0 lbs: live rock = $50 shipping = $35 total cost = $85 Big purchase of 30 lbs: live rock = $150 shipping = $44 / 3 = $15 total cost = $194 / 3 = $65 Please PM me if you have LR/LS for sale or are interested in sharing the gulf view LR. TIA!!! -chang Link to comment
