jeffsz28
i have had him for acouple years and the past couple days he doesn't have much of a appetite- and doesn't swim around and when he does he swims strange like he is off balance? he always rams him head into the glass lid for years everyday- like when he wants feed and during feeding- could he have damaged his nervous in his nose or senses and that might be the reason why??? thanks Jeff Link to comment

jeffsz28
125gal- size of the tank has nothing to do with it- he likes to bump the lid to get your attention to feed him. Link to comment

spoondigity
How big is the shark? I had always read that all sharks should be kept in a round tank because they don't deal with corners well in captivity. I wonder if the long term stay in a rectangular tank could be messing with him. Just a thought as I have never owned a shark but I have read a lot about keeping them. Link to comment
Korbin
I heard that they're sensitive to electro-magnetic fields. Maybe a new electrical device on or near your tank is F-ing up his sensors. Link to comment
ochretoe
Check for electrical shorts in heater and pumps, also cleaning magnets can confuse them. I don't know why but a friend of mine cleans shark aquariums in Chatanooga and sais there big cleaning magnets drive the sharks nuts. Link to comment
