Ihaveafish
I have these Anmone that are spreading and growing all over the place. When I got this new rock, they came pouring out. There were about 20-25. Now there are four or five tiny little ones poping up. They puff up their bottom into a big bubble, thrun upsidedown and float across the tank. A guy at the LFS was talking about something that looks like an anmone, but is actually a type of aisptasia. what are these little buggers? Link to comment
Ihaveafish
I've killed other aisaptasia in my tank. But they didn't look like this. So, is this a good anmone, or a bad one? Will it take over my tank? Link to comment
Daemonfly
It doesn't look like the common aiptasia I've seen. I'd wait to get a positive ID before you try to remove it. You could also try ReefCentral or Reefs.org forums for more chances of an ID. Link to comment
Ihaveafish
Can anyone here give a positive Id? Link to comment
calvinci
those are mojomo, as bad as aiptasia. Here is a green one. Link to comment
Caesar777
Yup, they're Majano, a different species of anemone, but just as irritating as Aiptasia. Will sting your corals to death, not fun. Link to comment
