Kalanianaole
Anyone out there run a pygmy seahorse tank? Or ranch, if you prefer. Weirdo. I've converted my 5 gal into a seahorse-friendly enviroment with feather calupera, small yellow finger gorgonia and other assorted calupera as hitches. I've left two small reef hermits in there, is that dangerous for baby pygmys? My biggest concern is feeding the little guys. I've read that fresh-hatch baby brine (enhanced of course) is the only option for the tiny maw of the pygmy. Anyone know of other options? Finally, sucka, I'm ordering them from Oceanrider. Any reviews of the company would be appreciated. Thanks, all you peeps out there I hain't met. jkm Link to comment
tinyreef
dude, you want a pony ranch too? : (i'm the weirdo?) i'd recommend you graduate down on horses. start with a bigger tank (15H min imo) and raise mustangs (i think OR calls their most popular breed that). leave the 5g for a feeder tank for the horses. once you're comfortable with the bigger cousins then go for the ponies. you may even be able to put a larger in with the dwarfs in the 5g (not recommended tho, bioload issues) Link to comment
