Pikelet
I'm thinking of trying some Aragamight to my topoff water as a safer way to add Calcium and trace elements to my tank. Does anyone have any experience with this? Link to comment
luv2jeep
Well, I have been using it in my auto top-off for about 1-1/2 months now. I have to say that I am seeing NO benefit from it! My Calcium is consistently on the low end (~250-300) and my alkalinity SUCKS! I'm going with Reef Builder first. Hopefully by raising my alkalinity I'll be able to keep Ca stable at 350 (post water change). If not, I'll start dosing Kalkwasser & Reef Advatage Calcium in my makeup water. AragaMight has no negative affects ... no positive ones either! YMMV ... Link to comment
Dave ESPI
Aragamight ot aragamilk? the Might doesn't stay in solution very well IME, but eh milk is just atomized aragonite and rodi Water. It works ok, but not worth the price. Yer better off with ghetto pickeling lime and the B-IOnic IME. Link to comment
qsails
I have been adding B-Ionic to my top off and have seen a little change. Do you think this works or am I beter off dosing directly to the tank? Link to comment
luv2jeep
I am using AragaMight (powder). Yes, it all settles! Even after adding to the tank, it just settles out. As much as it pains me to say it, I guess a chemical designed to dissolve in water will work better. X) I hate chemicals in a tank!!! :*( Link to comment
