RyanD
Hey guys, ive restarted my tank! After doing a a few modifications to fit a massive 600L per hour Canister filter (wool, sponge, biostrate and noodle media)that turns over my tank 21 and a half times per hour and 2x Small Cold Cathode ray Tubes. No heater required! Even though its winter here, my tank temperature sits on 27'C at all times! Running Fiji Live Rock with some corals, can anyone possibly identify them? Corals are doing well, im running on a theory that if i run my 12v Cathodes for 12 hours per day,and my 11w 5000K for 8 hours, it gives the corals enough acintic light to encourage growth (and its working!) A mix of crushed coral and aragonite sand as substrate. Current Stock 1 x 5 Sripe Damsel (Western Australia) 1 x Velvet Damsel (Indonesia) 1 x Blue Damsel (Western Australia) 2 x Shortspine Sea Urchins 1 x Sea Snail 1 x Mini Hermit Crab 1 x Mini Rock Crab (freebie with live rock) 2 x Serpulid tube-dwelling worms (blue) Looking to find a blood shrimp in the future. reefsrule
the fish look a lil cramped don't you think? Link to comment
RyanD
They seem ok to me, the tank is alot longer than it looks, i have seen 3 fish in a tank this size before. Link to comment
reefsrule
3 fish in a 10 gallon would be really pushing it, besides I have seen fish in tanks that are too small for them too, but that doesn't make it right. The pic makes it look like a 2.5, maybe the aquascaping? Link to comment
