icyoud2
had a few things donated to my tank,"yeah!" in one of the bags, i found this snail shell. its full of what seem to be 50 tenticles or worms (i havent seen any crawl right out of the shell, thats why i thought tenticles) they seem to crawl/stretch themselves by gripping the glass and pulling, they retract quickly, almost like a rubber band under tension. i can count 30 or so. they retract right into the shell but also stretch to about 2", the longer they get the thinner they get. when they do stretch out, if you look very very close, you can see a brown/dark ring around the orange tentical every 1/8" or so. any ideas? icyoud2
i put him in my micro cube, until i can find out what he is. if you look close you can see the brown markings on the tenticals. i've watched him drag algee and rocks into the shell for about 2 hours now. any ideas? my web searches have come up empty. thanks leigh Link to comment
janasleah
Spaghetti worm? I've never had one in a shell, only in rock, but they can drag/lift quite a large piece of rock up to their hole... Link to comment
