NC12 vs. NC12 DX

I would like to know the exact differences between these two.

 

So far I know they have different lighting.

It also seems like the DX comes in dark grey, while the standard comes in black. Is this correct?

 

What other differences are there?

 

Will upgradeability be the same on both? Meaning if i get a custom hood from Nanocustoms, will it fit on both the DX model and the Standard model?

Please share, I am trying to decide between the two. I would replace light with 70w MH which I already have. Other than the lights, what did you find to be the difference? I've read some things where they say the DX has a good surface skimmer. Is it different??

I believe the only difference besides lighting is the color.

 

the DX is in dark grey while the normal version is in black.

 

and also, the DX hinge is different than the normal version.

 

I dont know about the surface skimmer..
