SeaFish
hi to you all. my question is...with my two 32 watt custom sealife lghts that has a total of 64 watts per gallon mounted about 14-15 inches from the substrate top. is this enough lighting? i have a 12 gallon tank which makes it at 5.33 watts per gallon. the lights are 50/50 each with 10,000k and actinic . i have the lights arrange in this sequence which is white blue white blue. with this arrangement, it looks mroe bluish and less bright (i dont know if hte less bright effect is because it is bluer) or should i arrange it where its: blue white white blue With that arrangement it looks more white and brighter. which arrangement do you all think is better form my corals and if these lighting is enough for any kind of coral except for sps? please give detail advice. tahnk you all in advance as always. you guys help me with all my questions. thank you. Satchmo
That lighting is fine for softies and LPS. Arrange them in whatever manner you like best. Your corals won't care. Myself, I like the actinic up front because that's where I put most of my stuff that really glows. Link to comment
