Via Aqua 18 Gallon

Well After month's of reading and Browsing this sight I went out and bought a set-up.

its a rainy day and the girlfriend is away so its time for me to play.

I have been dying to get a tank for a long time now and now I have it.

 

18 Gallon 20x14x18

2x36w PC (1x7,100 daylight and 1x 12,000 actine)

21 lbs of half cured half uncured fiji LR

35 Lbs of Aragalive sand

Whisper power filter

aquaglobe 300 PH (tiny)

tronic 50w heater.

 

If anyone see's anything I am missing Let me know

Is that the lighting that came with the tank or did you retro it? Also, do you plan on putting glass over the top of the tank or are you going to leave it open?

Sounds like a nice setup. Depending on how cold your house gets at night, the 50 watt heater might be a little on the weak side. you might consider exchaning for a 75 or 100 watt one.

That is the light that came with the tank. I think I will upgrade to a 10,000 daylight. my plan right now is to leave the tank open. I might get a cover if I am going to be away but I am not sure.

Those tanks are very cool. I was planning on gettin' one myself but decided to just start from scratch with a good ol' standard 10 gal. I'd probably add more live rock to that.. but if you like it, forget what I said.

My cycle is almost complete. Will adding new rock start the cycle over?
