ghorn Posted May 4, 2005 Share Posted May 4, 2005 I had a Royal Gramma (only fish in the tank) do the same thing for about 10 days. He hid in a small cave and would not come out. Now he is Mr. Personality and my kids love him. I think it's for defensive measures. He is in a new surrounding and a bit confused. His goal is to survive and not become a meal for someone else. Just protecting his back. He will slowly get comfy and venture out. Don't add another fish yet and go easy on the food so you don't overload the system. He will find critters in the live rock if he is starving. Good Luck Link to comment
