Hello all. I am new to the nano thing, however I do have a very successfull 300gal. Reef in my basement. This question is going to sound dumb. I want to set up a 10gal. nano in my little girls room on her bookshelf. I have a 10gal. Regent system( bought it at wallmart). The question is, do I have to get a new hood or something for lights, or could I just replace the bulb in the regent hood with a bulb from the LFS that is of a higher K rate. Or am I just going to have to retro the regent hood.

 

I am going to try and keep Shrooms and Xenia in the tank, and maybe a clam(maybe) I have 22 of them in my 300gal. I have successfully got them to propagate in my tank(COOL). Please help in this matter.???
