Coralline?

Coralline algae growth has taken off in my system, especially on powerheads, glass and dead rock I placed in the tanks (now live rock :) ). However, on one rock, I have something that looks similar but does not grow similarly. I know there are several types but I'm not sure about this. It's pink like a lot of coralline but instead of a hard crust over the rocks, it is forming frilly plates that are growing out from the rock itself and actually outgrowing the soft coral polyps. Is this some sort of odd coralline algae?

that's a common type of frilly coralline.  very pretty imo.

It's similar to that but the edges are much more frilly than that. Any idea if it will stay on just the one rock or perhaps spread to others? Other coralline algaes have spread all over the rocks but this one remains on just the one rock right now.
