FAC_WNY
Actinodiscus(=Discosoma) spp....aka "Warty Mushroom". Cheers, Fred Link to comment
goby1kanobi
Thank you Fred Even more specifically, would this be a Discosoma sanctithomae? Or am I completely off track? Some other? Anyone have something similiar perhaps? Link to comment
FAC_WNY
ID to the species level in the Actinodiscus/Discosoma complex is nearly impossible (species/genus duplication, misnaming, no confirmation on what is a species and what is just a morph or variant within species, etc). Corallimorph taxonomy in general is hit or miss. Suffice it to say it's a Actino/Disco and be done..lol. Cheers, Fred Link to comment
Six
Second that. Genus is all you can really get unless you've got Ricordea. Soft corals are a PITA in that respect. Nice lil schroom ya got there. Link to comment
