fragging sunburst polyps

my friend has a 29 gallon tank with a very nice healthy purple sunburst polyp that is about six to seven inches long and four inches wide. i am establishing a 10 gal tank my self and would like to have a frag with the same polyps as him. we are both generally new to reefing and have no idea how to get the polyps from its base rock onto the frag that is going into my tank.
