CraigRoss Posted April 27, 2005 Share Posted April 27, 2005 During the hours spent staring at my tank I discovered this wierd slug like thing squeezing out of a hole in my live rock. Its translucent grey in color, small (I'd say about 1/16") and football shaped. Thats untill it streches out of a hole tripling in length into a tubuler shape opening it's mouth to grab a chunk off the rock and then back into the hole it goes to squeeze back out again. There is no telling how deep into the rock it goes but my guess is its some kind of pod. I thought pods were all crustations though. Is this a nudibranch of some kind? Any thoughts???? However all the ones I saw were stretched out and really big. Maybe its just a baby. But they all said they were good for the reef tank and thats a big relief. Link to comment
