mushroom 'puffed' up.....

My new green stripe mushroom frag, mounted on a shell, in the bag, on the way home from the LFS, 'puffed' up like a balloon. About half of it did this. During acclimation, I guess it 'popped'. It was deflated and white 'stringies' were coming from the wound and floating in the bag.

 

I searched for something similar but "mushroom puffed up like a balloon - then pops with white stringies" didn't yield any results.

 

Maybe a good night's sleep will help. zzz

sounds like guts, it was stressed, acclimate it and put it into a lower light area for a little while

Thanks for the tip. So far it's not very happy. Time will tell. I guess I'll know if it's dead or dying if the crabs start in on it.
