HughJas
I've been seeing these around the tank for a while but now I'm able to get a good shot of one. It's a mass of threadlike tentacles that all come from the same source. They're tan in color with black stripes. If you sit and watch it a while the tentacles sweep over the area and grab anything they can. Here's a pic, if anybody needs a better pic let me know. Thanks all... Link to comment
nano_mike00
I believe they are called medusa worms. I had them all over my 55g and with the exception of making goofy looking piles of sand everywhere i never noticed them to be a nuiscanse. During maintenance i would pull out as many as i could and flush 'em though.... Like i said the little piles of sand everywhere gets annoying after a while. Link to comment

nano_mike00
Of COURSE i do! I just started a tank at my office for all of my rics zoos and blastos. these are still by far my favorite 3 corals. The only coral in my new tank is a red rim green center wellsi with about 9 heads. Link to comment
BKtomodachi
Thats no medusa worm. It IS, though, a harmless, beneficial detrivore. Link to comment
