Thos2go
Hopefully I have attached this correctly. My 26 gallon bow is just a few weeks old. Basically diatoms are everywhere. I think that they are starting to reside. Anyway I took a picture of this, and I hope it's not the dreaded bubble alage. Is it? Please say no. Thanks ahead of time. Link to comment
Thos2go
They are super small. It's not like the bubble algae that iI have seen before. They don't seem like bubble, but more like clumping segments. So positively it's bubble algae? Will they go away as the other algae starts to grow and the nitrates fall. Link to comment
mjschomer
There are many forms of bubble algae. In my experience, the small variety is the worst because it will grow into massive clusters. Take the rock out now and scrape it off; and buy an emerald/mithrix crab and hope it eats it. Link to comment
