CubeDude
I posted this earlier, but the picture was bad. I removed this crab from my tank, but I can't ID it. Any ideas with this better picture? http://www.brianharper.org/pictures/IM000213.JPG http://www.brianharper.org/pictures/IM000214.JPG Link to comment
ImAnanoReefer
cool make a pico for him to live in!!! doubt you'll be ab le to id him though. Link to comment
embryoguy
i personally would not remove it. little creatures makes a reef interesting. keep an eye on him, if hes not eating any corals, than why take him out? i have a few hichiker crabs and the eat my algae and they are interesting looking and small enough so they dont harm my fish. i dont know the name of it but i think ive seen them being sold at lfs. is it very flat? it so it might be reef save. but hopefuly someone else can id him. BKtomodachi
I'd remove it. Many times the hairy and fiddler-type crabs can become troublesome, but only when they grow larger. Do you have a refugium you can banish it to? Link to comment
drparker
I've got the exact same guy. see my post here I've left him for now. He doesn't seem to leave a 3" area. Drew Link to comment
CubeDude
http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/showthread...&highlight=crab Based on the above posts I banished him to a friends fuge! I don't have any corals yet, but I don't want to risk anything. Link to comment
