new perc adjusting well

thanks guys

for all the suggestions in regards to introducing the new perc into the established 12gl

 

I brought the new guy home yesterday after he quarantined for 10days at the lfs

so far so good

I took the old guy out and bagged him- completely rearranged the tank while the 2 percs where conditioning

introduced them together about 2 hours later

and aside from some munor snapping it all seems good

theres no major fighting

noone hiding

 

the one odd behavior is they are like vibrating at each other

honestly if i knew for sure one is male and the other female i would say its mating behavior

 

the new guy is a bit larger than the old one

new guy will only eat flakes-refuses fresh scallop

while old guy refuses to eat flakes

 

someone will have to give in somewhere
