Mnesarchus Posted November 8, 2002 Share Posted November 8, 2002 I have had diatom problems in my tank for 3 or 4 weeks now, having to dust them off the glass and sand every night to make the tank pretty again. It seemed that nothing could stop them. However, yesterday I recieved a small scoop of live sand from Mr. Espi, and when I get home from work, the diatoms have almost dissapeared! What a difference in like 24 hours. My #1 piece of advice for those starting new tanks is GET LIVE SAND!! . I didn't, and I was sorry. Thanks, ESPI. Link to comment
Dave ESPI Posted November 8, 2002 Share Posted November 8, 2002 'welcome. Sux that Purolator fu***ed up and didnt deliver the xenia in a timely mannor too.... I just took 5 frags to the LFS, I seen one get sold as soon as they added them to the tank. funny.... the kid who was buying it HATES ME..... he was babbling like a kid in a candy shop when he seen how nice and vibrant the Xenia was.... Some people dont like me, yet they love me too.... SO just to bust his bubble, I told him they were from my tank..and Im still a dick. YES ! home team 1 visitors 0 Link to comment
