moolsfish
I have noticed this maroon slug looking thing recently but today i noticed the openings on each side of it and noticed it inflate itself with water when the lights were came on this morning after it was deflated during the lights-off period. It doesn't move around so i'm not sure what the hell it is..... any ideas?? Link to comment
moolsfish
I'm sure someone can quickly ID this tiny coral that has begun sprouting on my LR. there are about 15 of these tiny ones in the same spot so i'm hoping they will grow to a decent size... Link to comment
bobioden
Sounds like a tunicate. Especailly since you said it didn't move around, and inflates and deflates. 2nd looks like a little colt coral. Bob Link to comment
reef hugger
The 1st pic is a tunicate. The 2nd pic, looks like some type of clove polyp. Link to comment

djconn
Does that coral in the second pic pulse or open/close? If so, it might be a xenia species. Just wanted to add that since you said there are like 15 of them which would lead me to believe its a xenia colony. Link to comment
jenniebutterfly
the second pic looks like a baby anthelia. here is a pic, notice the babies? if it is what you have, it spreads quickly. i started with three full grown polyps about 1 month ago,and now that is surrounded by about 30 babies. http://www.markrosenstein.com/gallery/myreef/P1010072 Link to comment
