theliquidzoo
would either painted OR wartskins do well in a nano-cube (as in the JBJ nano-cube 12 gal) or not? curious if anyone has one in theirs and how it's going, filtration, skimming, feeding, tankmates, etc. i would prefer to keep on water changes...i don't really want to add a skimmer or external filtration to the nano-cube...seems to defeat the purpose of that nice self-contained unit. if those frogfish won't work in that size, i'll have to wait for a bigger tank. saw this thread: http://nano-reef.com/forums/showthread.php...hlight=frogfish but it wasn't definitive. thanks! shao-lin nano
If you need a larger tank and like the nanocube style/function then go with the 24g nanocube. Link to comment
offsprg01
24g nanocube should be plenty fo a small frog fsh. from what undestand they do not swim much. just lie in wait for passing prey. i don't think i'd try to house one in a 12 though. HTH Link to comment
Tempest
IMO it should be fine in the 12g as long as you carefully monitor the water quality and do weekly WC. I kept a striated angler in a 10 gallon tank and he did fine. Link to comment
