jennclark
This guy climbed out of my live rock, and I can't find him in any of my books. He's about an inch and a quarter long, and I'm wondering (a) what kind he is, ( how big he's going to get, and © whether he's going to eat my corals. ANY input is greatly appreciated. Thx. ricky1414
Just a wild stab, but it looks like a "shame-faced" crab. Is it holding its claws to its mouth/head? Link to comment
shutterbuggy
About two weeks ago I received that very same crab on some Indonesian live rock that I am currently cycling. It is approximately the size of a large walnut with thick legs. That to me would suggest that it is a shore dwelling crab? I am very interested to know what type it is, but I doubt that it is a shame faced crab. Either way I don't trust it. It's red eyes are way too evil! Link to comment
