Thinking of the heat in the summer

I have a nano six and was trying to come up with an idea to chill my nanocube without buying 200+ dollars of equipment. One side tells me that i should just fork over the money, but the other tells me that I really don't have that kind of money to spend on the cube.

 

Idea:

 

Use a peltier run it with 12v and attach it to the back side (outside the tank). The peltier will have a heatsink and fan. For you guys that don't know what a peltier is...it's the same thing as the ice probe. So my idea is basically like the ice probe, but instead of drilling and using the ceramic to actually touch the water and cool it, i would just use the glass to cool the water. I don't know yet. But i would love some feed back. Tigah tell me what you think, now that you have a nc6 yourself. I know it gets a little hot down in southern cali.

I think this is a viable mod, but will count on a good location for the peltier, so that there is good water flow to that particular part of the glass.
