embryoguy
has anyone switched out the loud fan on the 6 gallon nanocube? Link to comment
Chronicles
About to switch my 2 on my 12 to stealth fans. It's louder then my PC, so the fans have to go. Link to comment
embryoguy
thanks, but what are stealth fans? can you post a link please. thank you. Link to comment
ccjung
Chron, be careful with those stealths. The distance between the splashguard and the fan intake tends to choke the fans if you are sucking out. In my products, I always suck out in order to maximize consumer comfort. I have found tho, that the most effective cooling method is to blow hot air out of the tank (fans sucking in). that would get rid of the static pressure issues associated with the narrow clearance. Sorry to threadjack. Chris ps. I will be announcing the 6g tonight after i whip up a prototype. Link to comment
Chronicles
I haven't ordered them yet, or even opened the top up for that matter . I'm trying as hard as I can to NOT take it apart for the first week. Link to comment
embryoguy
thanks, chris! your a blessing to nanocubers. nanocube should pay you for your information on there product. you know more about there equip. than they do. Link to comment
