aaronfmd Posted March 28, 2005 Share Posted March 28, 2005 Can anyone id this algae? its brown, very delicate and wavy. it looks like a spiderweb spun mostly in high flow areas. it's hard to focus on it because it only grows where it can wave a lot. easily blown off with turkey baster. aaronfmd Posted April 16, 2005 Author Share Posted April 16, 2005 just a quick update. i never did figure out what it was, and it got really bad. I added rowaphos and changed my chemipure. then just kept doing weekly water changes and sucking it out with an airline, and it's all gone now. I feel like I dodged a bullet on this one, but I guess old fashioned water changes did the trick once again. Link to comment
